Adam Chaprales, candidate for State Representative in the Second Barnstable District, announced today that he has been endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Massachusetts SAFE Trust PAC.
In a letter informing Chaprales of his endorsement, NFIB's state political director, Bill Vernon said Chaprales "will be committed to the needs of thousands of Main Street small businesses and their more than one million employees in Massachusetts when you are elected to serve on Beacon Hill."
"I am honored and humbled by the endorsement of the NFIB Massachusetts SAFE Trust PAC," said Chaprales. "I appreciate the support of small business owners across this district, and I look forward to protecting the interests of small business owners and their customers on Beacon Hill.
Chaprales, a resident of Barnstable, has made the support of small businesses and their needs a cornerstone of his campaign. A small business owner himself, Chaprales says he understands the needs of small businesses and the special role they play in job creation.
"Unlike my opponent, I appreciate the fact that small businesses play a critical role in creating jobs and supporting the economy of our community, and I pledge to do whatever I can to protect them from detrimental policies if elected. I want to work with businesses and community leaders to create jobs and grow our economy."
Recently, Chaprales' support for small business was featured in a meeting with Tim Silva, the owner of Timmy's Roast Beef in Barnstable, who is supporting Chaprales in this election.
NFIB is the nation's leading small business association, with offices in Washington, D.C. and all 50 state capitals. Founded in 1943 as a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. NFIB gives small and independent business owners a voice in shaping the public policy issues that affect their business. NFIB's powerful network of grassroots activists sends their views directly to state and federal lawmakers through its unique member-only ballot, thus playing a critical role in supporting America's free enterprise system. NFIB's mission is to promote and protect the right of its members to own, operate and grow their businesses.
The Second Barnstable District consists of Barnstable (Precincts 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13) and Yarmouth (Precincts 5, 6).
